  19. Caffeine Software and FirstClass NV today announce that they have
  20. agreed to co-market their respective applications as a powerful
  21. image editing bundle.

  23. TIFFany II is the leading pixel image editor for the NEXTSTEP
  24. platform.  The application incorporates a unique set of tools for
  25. image manipulation and editing.  Your may select from over 40
  26. actions, filters, morphology, contrast, brightness, retouching,
  27. color correction, masking and much more to create award winning
  28. images.  And you can quickly view and manage your image archives
  29. with TIFFany's image database to create thumb nail sized images
  30. for quick access.

  32. Tailor Office 2.0 is the proven PostScript editor, unique to the
  33. NEXTSTEP platform.  With Tailor, you can visually edit PostScript
  34. documents, without any specialized knowledge at all.  You can cut
  35. pieces out of a document and copy them to any other application,
  36. including TIFFany II.  Or recover text paragraphs for use in your
  37. favorite word processor.  And all this regardless of where the
  38. PostScript or EPS document originated.

  40. Bundled together as TIFFanyAndTailor, these applications offer
  41. powerful editing capabilities for nearly every image you are likely
  42. to encounter on your NEXTSTEP workstation.  Don't settle for boring,
  43. low quality images that weaken the message you wish to portray.
  44. Enhance the images for your company's brochures, signs, manuals
  45. and ads using the powerful tools offered in this application bundle.

  47. The TIFFanyAndTailor bundle lists $830 for a single license, or
  48. 30% less than the sum of both products separately.  Educational
  49. price for a bundle license is $450.  There are no upgrades from
  50. current TIFFany or Tailor licenses to the bundle.  However, future
  51. upgrade paths are guaranteed.  For example, upgrade from Tailor
  52. Office 2.0 to Tailor Publishing 2.0 lists $570 as usual ($285
  53. educational).

  55. The TIFFanyAndTailor bundle runs on NEXTSTEP release 3.1 or higher.
  56. Supported architectures include Intel-based and NeXT computers, and
  57. shortly HP PA-RISC workstations.  The bundle is available now,
  58. directly from benchMark Developments Inc. and from selected resellers.
